The role requires strong software development, instrumentation experience, and the ability to create reusable architectures, data collection, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Working knowledge of Python and automated instrumentation.
• Experience with NI PXI/cDAQ and measurement systems.
• Familiarity with SQL/databases and Git.
• Hardware debugging skills in production test environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test applications using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Develop drivers for instrumentation (NI PXI, cDAQ, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, Serial).
• Create automated production, validation, and engineering test sequences.
• Design reusable software architectures and test frameworks.
• Integrate measurement equipment, DAQs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and environmental chambers.
• Develop automated data collection, reporting, and traceability systems.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing automated test stations.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineers to improve test coverage.
