You will handle tax filings, convert documents to digital formats, and support the tax department with clerical tasks in person at our Downers Grove/Deerfield/Chicago offices. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a mid‑size accounting firm, proficiency with Outlook/Excel/Word, and familiarity with GoFileRoom, GoSystem or SafeSend.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a mid-size accounting firm.
• Experience processing tax returns.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with GoFileRoom, GoSystem or SafeSend.

Responsibilities

• Manage completion of all tax return filings and communication to resolve errors.
• Maintain content for internal document management.
• Receive, scan, and convert tax documents to electronic formats.
• Process tax returns electronically using SafeSend (paper optional).
• Type and execute letters and general correspondence.
• Provide project/administrative support in other areas of tax.
