Job summary

Strobel Farms in Kentucky is seeking a Filter Compliance Technician to oversee air filtration systems and biosecurity measures in swine facilities. You will conduct audits, maintain ventilation equipment, and ensure protocol compliance across multiple site areas.

The role requires attention to detail and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning both indoor attic spaces and exterior areas. Assists in training and supports on-site staff in maintaining high biosecurity standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of livestock experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biosecurity audits of interior and exterior swine facilities to ensure measures are in place and effective.
• Perform daily audits of ventilation systems and monitors for backdrafts or faults.
• Ensure adherence to airlock protocols and disinfection/downtime procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and supplies in biosecure areas.
• Collaborate with on-site technicians and participate in monthly audits with leaders.
