Job summary

A summer camp organization in Hudson Valley is seeking a Camp Support Services Coordinator to provide care for campers. In this role, you will support staff on behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs to ensure campers thrive throughout their summer experience. Onsite housing, meals, and a competitive compensation of $3,000 to $3,300 are provided for the summer. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and ideally have substantial camp experience in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old by the start of camp.
• Extensive experience as a general counselor or staff member in a residential camp setting is preferred.
• Experience or background in social work, psychology or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support staff in managing camper behavior concerns.
• Provide immediate support to staff during difficult situations.
• Develop and lead workshops for staff on behavior management.
