Job summary

Definitive Innovative Solutions (DIS) is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst II to monitor networks, analyze events, and respond to incidents using SIEM tools to protect enterprise systems. On-site in Arlington, five days a week, with TS/SCI eligibility and DoD IAT Level II certification required.

The role emphasizes incident detection, coordination with stakeholders, and hands-on security analytics across multiple technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years relevant experience; 4 years can substitute.
• 2 years relevant experience required.
• DOD TS/SCI eligibility is required.
• DOD IAT Level II Certification is required.
• Experience detecting and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
• Knowledge of network protocols, OS, endpoint security, and cyber threat methods.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor program networks via dashboards and on-site devices.
• Perform incident detection, analysis, and response per procedures.
• Operate and coordinate security events using SIEM tools.
• Conduct backup and recovery procedures when needed.
• Report outages or incidents per guidelines and procedures.
• Provide mobile phone support (SIM activation/deactivation).
