Phoenix Cyber is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our client delivery team on-site at client locations in Herndon, Virginia. You will apply security engineering expertise to real-world deployments and incident response, helping clients strengthen their security posture.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or 5+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing with Python.
• Scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
• 3+ years in software development with COTS integration.
• Experience with C# / JavaScript or Node.js.
• Experience with API development/consumption.
• Prior consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop and implement automations for security incidents.
• Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, vendors and project stakeholders to design security orchestrations.
