The Site Lead acts as onsite supervisor for a snow crew, coordinating daily tasks, ensuring safety, operating sidewalk tractor equipment, and delivering excellent customer service. This seasonal, non-driver role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to make timely decisions in challenging winter weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one winter season of experience with snow removal.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a crew.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in challenging winter weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a snow shoveler crew at assigned sites.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure the crew understands job expectations.
• Operate and maintain snow removal and de-icing equipment safely and effectively.
• Demonstrate proficient operation of a sidewalk tractor.
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members to promote safe and productive work.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise snow and ice removal activities at assigned locations.
• Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed within required timelines and quality standards.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and company leadership.
• Serve as the primary onsite customer contact during winter operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow through on customer needs or concerns.
• Ensure all company safety procedures are followed.
• Properly document and report accidents, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance according to company policies.
• Accurately complete required job records and documentation.
• Use company technology and operating systems to track, document, and report work.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and company values.
