Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage complex Windows and Linux environments, enforce cybersecurity practices, and ensure reliability across networks. The role requires DoD-style experience, strong AD skills, and automation expertise.

The ideal candidate will hold a related degree, 5–7 years of experience, and active SECRET clearance with potential for TOP-SECRET access. This is an on-site position supporting DoD-aligned infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years as a Systems Administrator or similar.
• Expertise with Windows Server (2012R2–2025) and Active Directory administration.
• Strong PowerShell automation and system management skills.
• Experience managing enterprise GPOs, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, ADMT, and MS infrastructure services.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (DoD STIGs, Zero Trust, etc.).
• Experience with Linux administration, automation tools, and Ansible playbooks.
• Strong troubleshooting across servers, networks, storage, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory environments (users, groups, GPOs).
• Manage AD CS, certificate templates, and authorities.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, patching and updates.
• Troubleshoot complex system, app, and network issues across distributed envs.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to design technical solutions.
• Support IT operations with imaging, automation, and system configuration ( MDT, WDS, PowerShell, Ansible).
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls per ISSM/ISSO guidance.
• Support Linux servers (RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu) including scripting and automation.
• Manage backup solutions and networking using Cisco tech.
