The Senior System Administrator role at Hill Air Force Base requires expert administration of Windows and Linux servers, virtual infrastructure, and enterprise applications within the Hill CEDC. You will implement security controls, patching, and lifecycle maintenance while coordinating with cyber, network, and application teams to ensure high availability.

Applicants should have 4+ years of enterprise server experience, an active Secret Clearance, and a Security+ certification.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or related professional experience in IT or cybersecurity.
• 4+ years of system-administration in Windows and Linux environments.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ required; RHCSA/other Linux certs and VMware certs preferred.
• Experience with enterprise applications, change-management, and security controls.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and virtual infrastructure.
• Ensure security controls, patching, hardening, and compliance in data-center operations.
• Triage and resolve system, application, and network issues; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and configuration baselines; support EOL/EOS planning.
