Job summary

You will lead the Quality Group, apply statistical methods, and train suppliers in Moog systems while enabling robust supplier qualification and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of technical experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
• 5 years of experience should include inspection planning, supplier evaluations and corrective actions.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% to supplier sites as needed.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspection Planning: Develop and implement plans for receiving inspection for commodities at Moog facilities.
• Data Collection And Analysis: Collect and analyze supplier performance data to describe performance and reduce costs.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve root causes for rejections of supplied products.
• Personnel: Provide technical direction to the Quality group.
• Training: Train Quality Group in Moog Supplier Quality Systems and procedures including statistics.
• Supplier Evaluation: Perform initial and follow-up surveys at selected suppliers.
• Department Operation: Maintain knowledge of supplier quality systems and explain Moog methodology.
