Job summary

You will evaluate foundations, steel structures, and modeling with industry codes, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with clients, and contribute to nationwide infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree and 3 years experience in structural engineering
• FE exam completed (or equivalent) and 3 years experience
• MS in Structural Engineering with 2 years experience (optional)

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design from concept through design completion
• Modify and review drawings for facilities including power plants, hospitals, airports, and governmental buildings
• Design structural components per project requirements
• Apply standard engineering concepts, codes, and procedures
• Research and compile project-related data for managers
• Update drawings using CAD software
• Prepare information for client presentations and shop drawings
• Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned.
