Job summary

Fortellar is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Infrastructure Engineer to own the client’s network, virtualization, and storage infrastructure onsite in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area. You will work independently in a hands-on role managing 3 Cisco firewalls, 12 switches, 2 SAN arrays, and 2 VMware servers, with site-to-site VPN connectivity to multiple sites and a data center plus AWS.

Required are 5+ years of hands-on Cisco networking, VMware vSphere administration, and hybrid AD with Azure

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Cisco network infrastructure experience in production.
• Experience with site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco switches/routers across LAN/WAN.
• Manage routing, VLANs, trunking, STP, inter-VLAN routing.
• Configure Cisco firewalls, ACLs, NAT, VPNs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot latency; perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain firmware/IOS, backups, and change control.
