Qualifications

• Certification in California Guard Card and DOJ Chemical Agent.
• BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Current CA driver’s license.
• Ability to see public relations implications and effects on the organization.
• Diplomacy when dealing with the public and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Ability to cooperate with security staff, police, and hospital personnel.
• Physical ability for interventions, lifts, and restraints.
• Ability to assess emergencies and plan solutions per guidelines.
• Geography knowledge to expedite calls.
• Knowledge of penal and radio codes used in radio communications.
• Patrolling, standing, lifting, and restraining when needed.
• Good visual and hearing acuity for rapid reporting.
• Willingness to complete ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to security personnel and program policies.
• Supervise staff protecting property and restricted areas; manage crowds at events.
• Distribute schedules based on demand and skill set; monitor performance.
• Oversee protective service duties and compliance with standards and policies.
• Oversee Photo Identification Program in the absence of the manager; enforce laws and guidelines.
