Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate school nurse to provide 1:1 health support for a student at an Adult Transition Services Camp in Austin, Texas. The role is onsite, with collaboration among educators and families to meet medical needs throughout the school year.

The contract runs ASAP through May 21, 2027, with a 4-hour shift, 3–4 days per week. Texas RN licensure is required, and prior school-nursing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and active Texas RN license required.
• School-nursing experience is a plus.
• Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 nursing care for a student, including medication administration and care plan management.
• Monitor and address ongoing health needs during attendance at Adult Transition Services Camp.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and other care providers.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school policies.
