Job summary

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist in San Jose, California. The OT will provide school-based services to improve students’ access to instruction and participation, including evaluations, goal development, and direct/consultative therapies aligned with IEPs.

This position is 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, for 13 weeks, onsite at a school site. The ideal candidate holds a California OT license and a degree in Occupational Therapy, with K-12

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Three or more years of OT experience, preferably in K-12 settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct school-based OT evaluations and develop service recommendations.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to support IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain documentation and ensure IDEA compliance.
• Support student participation and independence in the classroom.
