Job summary

Dyna Robotics is seeking a Robot Safety Operator to ensure safe and reliable operation of our robotic systems during live testing and client deployments in San Jose, CA. You will monitor safety protocols, support experimental operations, and collaborate with engineering and research teams to refine robot behavior in real-world environments.

This on-site role requires strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to act quickly to activate emergency stops or recovery

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control robotic systems to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Intervene in real time when unsafe behavior or unexpected events occur (e.g., activate emergency stop or perform recovery).
• Conduct pre-task safety inspections and maintain secure testing environments.
• Record safety events and performance data to support continuous improvement.
