Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks a USACE certified Construction Quality Manager to oversee remedial activities at a Florida jobsite for up to 36 months. The on-site CQCM will monitor Versar's team and subcontractors, lead weekly field meetings, and ensure adherence to SAP/QAPP, HASP, SWPPP, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing technical memoranda, reviewing schedules, and maintaining comprehensive project records, with safety and regulatory expectations at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management preferred.
• 10+ years in construction with field PM or field superintendent roles.
• Experience with environmental remediation projects and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in English; valid US driver’s license; pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, manage on-site engineer/construction manager and subcontractors.
• Lead weekly field construction meetings and resolve issues on schedule, quality, and safety.
• Ensure SAP/QAPP, HASP, SWPPP, and SESC compliance; maintain action logs.
• Prepare technical memoranda and respond to RFIs for EPA/USACE.
• Monitor schedules, inspections, testing, changes, and closeout activities.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering

Construction management experience

PMP certification preferred

CHMM familiarity
