Job summary

Cura is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and improve patient quality of life in line with goals.

Responsibilities include education, standards compliance, interdepartmental collaboration, and contributing to continuous quality improvement within a hospital/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered dietitian with CDR eligibility or certification.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Work with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in developing and reviewing continuous quality improvement programs.
