Job summary

Elior North America, on behalf of Cura-Hospitality, seeks an experienced registered dietitian for Benedictine New Brighton in New Brighton, MN. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help maintain patients’ and residents’ nutritional status.

In this full-time onsite role, you’ll educate staff and collaborate with the healthcare team, follow ADA standards, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to compassionate, high‑quality dining services.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
