Cura-Hospitality is hiring a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and work to improve quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Responsibilities include educating the care team and residents, adhering to standards of practice, and contributing to quality improvement programs. A state license/certification and ongoing CE credits are required.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy standards.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and improving continuous quality improvement programs.
