Job summary

DiningRD is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide onsite consulting in long-term care settings, delivering nutrition services to residents and collaborating with the clinical team. You will conduct nutrition assessments, educate staff, assist with MDS reviews, and ensure meals meet high nutritional standards while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• CDR credentials are required.
• State license, if required by state.
• 2 years of consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve residents' nutrition by ensuring meals meet high nutritional standards.
• Collaborate closely with the clinical team to monitor residents' nutritional needs.
• Provide nutrition education, work on MDS with the team, and formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
• Guide dining services, including meal rounds, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Train and mentor dining managers and staff; assist with policy development.
• Monitor implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
