Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspection Tech III to join the team onsite in Santa Fe Springs. The role focuses on identifying statistical methods to improve manufacturing quality and providing data to establish quality standards through testing and sampling.

You will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using complex equipment, generate documentation, and ensure nonconforming material is properly controlled.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of receiving, in-process, and finished components using various measuring and test equipment
• Verify SPC data for final acceptance of parts
• Prepare certificates of conformance as required by customer
• Interface with other employees regarding quality issues
• Maintain inspection records and documentation in the MES system
• Read, interpret, and comply with policies, procedures and safety requirements
• Communicate effectively across departments to support quality goals
