Regal Rexnord in Radford, VA is seeking a quality engineer to develop and lead quality improvement plans, enforce standards, and drive corrective actions while maintaining lean manufacturing practices.

You will mentor training, analyze production data, and support qualification initiatives; experience with ISO 9001 and CAD/FEA preferred. This onsite role offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or 10+ years commensurate experience in an engineering field.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality system.
• Proven leadership in lean production environments.
• Ability to interact with production personnel at all levels.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and implement quality improvement action plans and procedures.
• Maintain technical knowledge to maximize productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Initiate and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Enforce quality standards across production.
• Support direct labor training and certification.
• Provide project leadership for major quality initiatives.
• Lead efforts to transition temporary actions to permanent solutions.
• Use data analysis to identify trends and define solutions.
