Job summary

ABB is hiring for a Quality role at its Pinetops, NC facility. You will assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, conduct audits, establish controls, and train on tools and methodologies. You will report quality KPIs and customer cases and maintain process documentation.

This onsite role reports to the Quality Control Manager. You will work with local operational teams to ensure data accuracy, drive improvements, and uphold safety standards in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Knowledge and use of basic measurement tools and hand tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
• Acquiring and reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
• Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
• Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.
