Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking an Analytical Chemist to perform routine testing in a QC Analytical Chemistry Lab in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on residual API and detergent analysis using HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, and TOC.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science (chemistry preferred) with 1–2 years of chromatographic experience and a solid understanding of GMP/GLP requirements. This is a 12-month temporary onsite assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Science (preferably Chemistry).
• 1–2 years of experience with chemical testing using chromatographic techniques.
• Working knowledge of HPLC and Mass Spectrometry.
• Understanding of GMP/GLP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical testing of residual samples using validated methods.
• Conduct pharmaceutical residual analysis using HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, and TOC.
• Identify and report out-of-specification (OOS) or unusual results.
• Carry out daily instrument calibrations and verifications.
• Document testing activities, analyses, and results accurately.
• Prepare test solutions and mobile phases for analyses.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas in clean condition.
• Adhere to SOPs, GMP, GLP, and safety requirements.
• Support development and manufacturing operations as needed.
• Communicate analytical results clearly to the team.
• Manage workload and scheduling to meet timelines.
• Seek additional assignments after primary tasks are completed.
• Participate in training and knowledge sharing.
