Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Quality Control Operations (QCO) Analyst II to support analytical testing across development to commercialization. The role emphasizes HPLC/UPLC and microbiological assays, data trending, investigations, and lab operations in a first-shift, 4x10 schedule based in Norton, MA with occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifications include a B.S. in a related science and 4–8 years in GMP QC, plus experience with method transfers and investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a science (chemistry/biology/biochemistry) or related field.
4–8 years in GMP QC or equivalent within pharma/biotech.
Experience with method transfer and implementation is desirable.
Strong technical writing skills, especially investigations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing (HPLC/UPLC and/or microbiology) for materials, in-process samples, release, and stability.
Support weekend operations to maintain continuous QC schedule.
Maintain training records and adhere to testing schedules to meet timelines and quality metrics.
Assist in maintaining lab equipment and preparing reagents for operations.
Review data timely and qualify as data reviewer for accessibility.
Contribute to SOPs, test methods, and controlled documents updates.
