Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform dimensional inspections of machined and molded parts on site, following engineering drawings and applicable external standards. You will operate micrometers, calipers, and CMMs, generate QA paperwork, and support new product qualification.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant ISO-regulated experience, GD&T knowledge, and strong collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure quality and timely

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent with specialized training and/or certification and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in ISO and regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Perform first article, on-line and final dimensional inspections from drawings and external standards.
• Inspect raw materials and components using standard inspection equipment.
• Perform component testing with tensile testers, force gauges, and programmable inspection machines.
• Generate QA paperwork including first article reports and non-conformance reports.
• Support qualification/validation of new products/processes and assist engineering with development of new gages and inspection methods.
• Follow procedures and specifications, update documents as needed, and coordinate with other departments to improve product quality.
• Coordinate containment and disposition of non-conforming products and generate QA history logs.
• Publish daily quality related reports and perform data entry tasks as requested by QA Management.
