Palms Behavioral Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a psychiatric setting. You will supervise care by LPNs and CNAs, implement individualized plans, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation on each shift.

You will collaborate with the treatment team, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition or emergencies. This role requires RN licensure, CPR/ de-escalation certification, and experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in clinical service; behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate nursing care; develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assess patient status continuously and communicate with providers.
• Administer medications and document accurately with two patient identifiers.
• Maintain medication security and accurate records for all patients.
• Educate patients and families about medications and care plans.
