Job summary

Filanc is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with planning, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering for large projects in the Western U.S. The role requires a 4-year engineering degree and 1–5 years of construction experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit, plus strong communication and analytical abilities.

The position involves budget and schedule monitoring, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring safety and quality on site

Qualifications

Requires a 4 year engineering or construction related degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
1 to 5 years’ experience in construction required; Water/Wastewater preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large projects.
Develop and monitor project budgets; code cost documents and reflect changes in work.
Monitor project schedules and improve work methods.
Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements and correspondence for changes in work or costs.
Oversee safety and efficiency on site with foremen, subcontractors, and the public.
Support project manager with multiple concurrent projects.
