Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician in Andover, MA to diagnose and repair a broad range of mechanical, CNC, and hydraulic equipment on a 3rd shift. Starting wage is $41.60 per hour, onsite with eligibility for company benefits and union-negotiated terms.

The role requires at least 5 years of maintenance experience and a 4-year apprenticeship, plus the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Join a team that maintains critical infrastructure and drives uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• 4 years of apprenticeship in maintenance trade or equivalent.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Works from prints, sketches, models, and diagrams to diagnose equipment and repair machinery.
• Maintenance on forklift trucks, cranes, belts, and other equipment.
• Maches jigs, fixtures, and any special tools necessary for maintenance work.
• Moves heavy machine parts for disassembly and reassembly of machines.
• Performs required maintenance of oiling and lubrication of machines.
