Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Process Quality Technician to manage post-process defects and coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering to determine part usability and repair as needed. You will monitor trends with Process Quality Engineers, measure part data, and ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications.

The role emphasizes on-site work, safety, and hands-on quality process training to sustain Built-in-Quality and QMS procedures across production lines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Safety, Shop computer systems and Shop Support Requirements
• Proficient computer skills (email, Excel, ERP systems)

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulations.
• Participate in daily rhythms for the area such as Gemba.
• Review & disposition daily part non-conformances based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Generate customer deviation reports and follow up on any dispositions or actions required in a timely manner.
• Monitor defect trends and escalto Process Quality Engineer as needed.
• Manage and maintain the flow of non-conforming material to and from production lines.
• Coordinate rework actions with Manufacturing as needed.
• Conduct training for quality processes as needed.
• Support Built-in-Quality implementation and sustainability.
• Maintain Quality Management System procedures, perform audits, and direct calibration actions.
