Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks an experienced instrumentation technician to own onsite calibration and maintenance in Ogden, UT. You will install, calibrate, and document control systems across valves, sensors, and flow devices while maintaining logs and calibration manuals.

The role requires a strong background in PLC wiring, industrial instrumentation, and robust preventive maintenance practices, performed 100% onsite in Ogden. A sign-on bonus is offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 5 years in instrumentation and controls, with a minimum of 3 years in a comparable industrial environment.
Trade/technical education in industrial instrumentation maintenance may fulfill part of the experience requirement.
Proficiency in PLC wiring and strong maintenance/repair fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and optimize instrumentation across pressure, flow, gas chromatograph, and pH systems to stabilize operations.
Calibrate temperature and pressure elements to NIST standards and maintain complete physical records.
Champion preventive maintenance discipline—up-to-date logs, test records, and a well-curated calibration manual library.
Restore and fit valves, valve positioners, and other flow devices to peak performance.
Coordinate maintenance with central shop to reduce downtime.
Operate with wire, pneumatic tubing, fittings, valves, controllers, sensors, and PLCs.
