Job summary

Power Device Corporation, a leader in high-reliability connectivity, power, and control solutions for aerospace and defense, is seeking a hardware design engineer. The role is 100% onsite at Poway, CA, with compensation of $110,000–$135,000 annually based on experience.

The ideal candidate holds a BSEE or CSEE, has 3+ years in hardware/digital design, and is familiar with high-speed digital design, PCB layout, and signal integrity. U.S. persons or license-eligible candidates are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years hardware or digital design experience required.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware designs that meet performance, reliability, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Create schematics and design documentation.
• Work with PCB designers to specify placement, routing, and impedance.
• Perform board bring-up, integration, and verification.
• Evaluate components and technologies for new and existing designs.
