UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Clinton Campus to provide patient-centered care on a full-time, on-site basis. The role involves evaluating, planning, and delivering treatments for a wide range of patients, from infants to geriatrics, with responsibilities including discharge planning and care coordination.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, MA licensure, and NPTE certification, with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program or equivalent.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Massachusetts.
• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Board Examination.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Analyzes patient data, assesses current functional ability and progress.
• Provides individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.
• Educates patients and families; participates in discharge planning and documentation.
• Maintains departmental statistics and supports inventory and purchasing.
• Delegates caseload to staff and ensures quality of care.
• Participates in quality improvement and program development initiatives.
• Supervises students according to professional standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Massachusetts PT license

National Physical Therapy Board Examination (NPTE)
