Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Phlebotomist for a contract role based in Linthicum, MD. You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accurate patient data updates while handling specimen preparation and transport requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of pediatrics/geriatrics experience in hospital/clinic/lab.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens with accuracy.
• Centrifuge specimens as required and label, split, and freeze as needed.
• Update patient information accurately and maintain documentation.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.
