Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Milwaukee team. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver services including immunizations and therapy management.

We seek at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience and a current license; immunizer certification is required or attainable within 90 days. Walgreens offers competitive pay, robust benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
