The role includes supervising technicians and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications include a Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Missouri license, with pediatric experience preferred.

• Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D; Bachelor of Pharmacy) from accredited school of pharmacy.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies medication orders, dispenses pharmaceuticals, and ensures safety and effectiveness.
• Provides clinical consultation with practitioners and supports cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
• Oversees dispensing process and supervises technicians/interns in pharmacy operations.
• Precepts pharmacy students and residents as applicable.
• Ensures patient safety and participates in drug therapy optimization with a multidisciplinary team.
