Job summary

Kaleida Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Hertel Elmwood Health Center in Buffalo, NY. This part-time role supports casefinding, teaching, counseling and provision of restorative care under licensed professionals while adhering to Kaleida policies.

The position requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, and an active LPN license with BLS on hire. Scheduled shifts include various mornings/afternoons, onsite work, and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks under guidance of a registered nurse, licensed physician, dentist or other licensed health care provider, within NYS DOH regulations and Kaleida policies.
• Provide casefinding, health teaching, health counseling and supportive/restorative care as directed.
