Job summary

Medisca is seeking a Packaging Technician to support the timely production of chemicals and devices at our onsite facility in Irving, TX. The role covers cleaning, material preparation, packaging, and manufacturing support within a cGMP environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least a high school diploma, warehouse experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to lift heavy loads. PPE and safety adherence are essential, with opportunities to grow in a expanding facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum one year experience in a warehouse environment; production experience in chemical/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMPs is an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Good mathematical skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Heavy lifting required at times (over 25 kg).
• Use of respirator and full PPE required majority of time.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for production by cleaning lab and equipment according to SOPs.
• Prepare raw products and packaging materials.
• Package bulk chemicals, devices, narcotics and controlled substances.
• Weigh, package, prepare and ship materials for manufacturing.
