SWJ Technology is seeking a Packaging Planning Engineer/Specialist for a long-term, 100% onsite role in Vance, AL. You will develop and manage packaging concepts for Body Shop and Assembly operations, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure launch readiness across US and Europe.
Occasional travel to supplier locations is required. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor degree in packaging/industrial engineering or related field with 3-5 years of experience in automotive packaging planning, and
Qualificações
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in packaging/industrial related field.
- 3-5 years in packaging planning and automotive manufacturing.
- Experience with BOMs and packaging documentation.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and modify packaging concepts.
- Coordinate development and validation of packaging concepts.
- Support Body Shop and Assembly packaging planning.
- Coordinate packaging BOM-based development.
- Drive packaging approvals with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with suppliers for sign-off and launch readiness.
- Maintain packaging documentation in enterprise systems.
- Travel to supplier locations as required.
- Provide onsite support to packaging engineering team.
- Participate in project status reviews.
- Monitor packaging data in internal systems.
