Job summary

WorkCare is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support medical and safety efforts at a large-scale construction site in Clay, NY. The project is expected to run for multiple years with timing driven by client requirements.

You will provide health care services to patients on site, with daytime, evening, and Saturday hours. Responsibilities include first-aid, medical treatment, employee surveillance exams, and return-to-work clearances in compliance with Workers’

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in New York with national certification in the state applying to.
• Must have unrestricted DEA license.
• Current ACLS/BLS certifications.
• A minimum of 3 years advanced practice experience with prior occupational medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-aid, medical treatment and appropriate follow-up to workers.
• Performs regulatory testing, TB tests, immunizations, blood draws, drug testing if required.
• Maintains employee health records and HIPAA compliance.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with client management and WorkCare supervisors.
• Provides timely, accurate reporting as dictated by client, WorkCare and law.
