Job summary
Archer, collaborating with MANTECH, seeks a motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is an onsite role requiring active TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in enterprise networking.
You will design and support WAN/LAN/data center solutions, use SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, and ISE, and work across large teams to implement changes in a structured ITIL environment.
Experience with CCNA, DoD 8570 IAT II/III levels, and VMware is valued.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of network engineering experience
- CCNA certification or equivalent routing/switching
- DoD 8570IAT Level II certification
- DoD 8570.1 / DoD 8140.01 (IAT III Level) certification within 6 months
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II/III network engineering support, designing WAN, LAN, and data center solutions
- Monitor and configure networks using SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE
- Create, maintain, and interpret detailed network diagrams and routing/topology baselines
- Coordinate across large internal teams and Sponsor authorities to drive infrastructure agendas
- Participate in ITIL Service Lifecycle including Change Requests and security monitoring policies
- Evaluate current network architectures and recommend improvements for performance
- Deliver end-to-end analysis, requirements, cost estimates, and releases for production IT environments
