Job summary

First Roles is seeking a Data Mapping & Integrity Analyst for a Nashville-based contract role with the Tennessee Department of Health. The position focuses on data quality, documentation, and modernization efforts for the Licensure and Regulation System (LARS).

The role requires strong SQL, advanced Excel, and experience analyzing complex datasets. You will document findings, support reporting requests, and participate in modernization activities with stakeholder engagement.

• Experience with data mapping and comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, validate, and document all existing fields in the LARS legacy system.
• Analyze field relationships and dependencies across extracts, certificates, API data feeds.
• Update data mapping documentation when gaps are found.
• Maintain a centralized data dictionary for agency-wide reference.
• Perform SQL-driven data profiling and trend analyses.
• Collaborate with business units to validate data usage and improve data entry practices.
• Support data migration testing and modernization efforts.
