Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance D - Mission Systems Specialist (Avionics) in Oklahoma City, OK onsite. The role involves supporting forward operating locations, repairing and maintaining avionics, and ensuring mission systems operate reliably.

Strong documentation and ability to obtain a security clearance are essential. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (or an associate degree with related experience) and be prepared for potential CONUS/OCONUS

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associate's degree with 4 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain a required Secret security clearance and meet deployment requirements.
Valid State Driver’s License and Valid US Passport are required.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers at a forward operating location.
Repair, maintain, test, and calibrate aircraft electronic equipment and mission systems.
Document maintenance using required forms and manuals.
Read, write, and understand English and follow technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Assist in training newly assigned personnel as required.
Travel as part of a maintenance recovery team; CONUS/OCONUS deployment may be required.
