Job summary

Peregrine Solutions is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery for a new federal campus. You will oversee MEP design, installation, testing, and closeout, guiding multi-disciplinary teams and managing budgets, schedules, and resources on DoD/GSA contracts.

This role requires deep MEP expertise, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to obtain HSPD-12 clearance for federal sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in an MEP Project Manager role or equivalent.
• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
• Experience on new federal construction projects (GSA, DoD) valued at $150M+.
• Hands-on oversight of MEP systems from design through closeout.
• Proven ability to lead teams of MEP specialists, estimators, and schedulers.
• Proficient with PMIS platforms and strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of MEP systems across all construction phases, including testing and commissioning.
• Lead design and specification reviews for MEP scopes to ensure compliance.
• Manage and mentor internal MEP teams and coordinate across trades.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and budgets.
• Review progress payment applications for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Communicate with owner, government stakeholders, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor contractor compliance with federal and DoD standards and regulations.
• Track subcontractor performance and QA/QC of MEP scopes.
• Prepare daily reports with photo documentation and upload to PMIS.
• Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and manage close-out punch lists.
• Ensure warranty documentation and O&M manuals are complete at close-out.
• Maintain required project documentation and compliance records.
