Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is hiring a Verification and Validation Engineer to join our production team. You will validate autonomous mechatronic systems through extensive testing, debugging, and analysis, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software colleagues to ensure system performance.

The role involves on-site work in the Fort Worth area with up to 25% travel for field tests and customer validation, and requires 3+ years in V&V of electro-mechanical systems, including EOL testing and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Min 3 years of hands-on V&V testing for electro-mechanical systems with EOL testing.
• Proficiency with CAN-Bus, bug tracking tools, and component integration validation.
• Experience testing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Exposure to scripting (Python, Bash) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases on mechatronic systems in lab and field.
• Support troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Execute and troubleshoot systems in real environments with QA and defect analysis.
• Maintain test documentation and report bugs; participate in scrum.
• Develop test plans for integrated systems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support UAT and cross-functional collaboration.
