Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex mechanical building projects in Central Virginia. This role is onsite, hands-on, and involves guiding teams to bring buildings to life with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will manage multi-million dollar projects, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure schedules and budgets are met while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial/industrial project management experience.
• Experience overseeing projects over $10M (mechanical portion ≥ $10M).
• Ability to manage material and labor flow for large, long-duration projects.
• Recent PM experience for a mechanical contractor/subcontractor (not Owner/Consultant/GC).
• OSHA 30-hour certification and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary manager for equipment, material and subcontractor estimates.
• Direct workers per project supervision, assigning tasks as required.
• Inspect ongoing and completed work for quality and conformance to specs.
• Interpret specs, blueprints, and job orders for installation areas.
• Review and approve shop drawings and splice drawings for timely field installation.
• Plan work sequences to meet schedules, considering equipment and personnel.
• Act as Business Manager for ColonialWebb on construction projects.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager on schedule, sequence, production, and quality.
