Micro Quality Calibration, Inc. in Niles, IL is seeking a Mechanical Calibration Technician to join our on-site technical team. This full-time, in-person role focuses on precise calibration of test equipment and generating accurate certificates.

You'll work Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $26–$35 per hour depending on experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on calibration experience (dimensional, mechanical, pressure, torque), strong attention to detail, and customer-facing

Qualifications

• Experience calibrating test equipment (physical dimensional, mechanical, pressure, torque).
• Customer service, administrative assistant or data entry experience.
• DOD, PMEL, or Military calibration background preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for team interaction and client collaboration.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Issue and review calibration certificates.
• Manage data entry and monitor orders.
• Assist with inventory control and customer service communication.
• Perform office duties, maintain lab cleanliness, and support workflow.
• Assist in electrical equipment calibration and testing under supervision.
• Prepare technical reports and other documentation.
• Handle additional assigned duties.
