Job summary
Chamberlain College of Nursing in Orlando is seeking a Maternal-Child Faculty member (Part-Time) to teach in the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program onsite at our campus.
The role emphasizes family-centered maternal/newborn care, clinical teaching, and supervision of nursing students in affiliated clinical settings.
Successful candidates will hold an advanced nursing degree, an active Florida license, and recent instructional experience in nursing education.
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Unencumbered professional nursing license in Florida.
- Two years of teaching or precepting experience in the last five years.
Responsibilities
- Implement the college's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
- Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback.
- Remain aware of agency/clinical policies and adjust assignments accordingly.
- Develop written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge and needs.
- Grade homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical work promptly.
- May teach didactic course content under supervision of the course coordinator.
- Inform the course coordinator of student and agency issues.
