Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an Onsite Material Handler to support a customer location in Taylor, TX. The role involves delivering and stocking VMI bins and industrial vending machines, and performing preventive maintenance as needed.

You will also drive a company vehicle for local deliveries and coordinate with customers and departments. The shift runs 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday through Tuesday, with a focus on fast-paced, customer-focused service and accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate filling of daily orders and transfers.
• Match products on order by part number.
• Match order quantity for each item.
• Follow labeling directions and requirements for each customer.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of inventory.
• Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries.
• Scan and load order into computer system.
• Coordinate with customers and related departments within the company.
• On-call as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
